This Cookie Policy explains how Gamyata (operated by Sumatak Technologies LLP) uses cookies and similar technologies on gamyata.com and the Gamyata application. It is a companion to our Privacy Policy.
What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. We also use similar browser-storage technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage) for the same purposes. Throughout this policy, “cookies” refers to all of these.
Cookies can be first-party (set by gamyata.com) or third-party(set by services we embed, such as PostHog analytics). They can also be session (deleted when you close the browser) or persistent(kept until they expire or you delete them).
Categories We Use
Essential cookies
Required for the site to function: authentication, session security, CSRF protection, load balancing, and remembering your cookie choices. These cannot be disabled because the product would not work without them. Lawful basis under GDPR: contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f), security).
Analytics cookies (optional)
Set only after you opt in. They let us measure aggregate usage: which features are used and where flows break, so we can improve the product. We use PostHog as our analytics processor; data is processed in the EU. Lawful basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
Advertising cookies
None. Gamyata does not run third-party advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking. We do not embed Facebook/Google/LinkedIn pixels on the product or marketing site.

How to Manage Cookies
Via Gamyata
When you first visit Gamyata, the cookie consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies (Analytics). You can change your decision later by clearing the gamyata_cookie_consent entry from your browser storage and reloading the site, or by emailing privacy@gamyata.com.
Via Your Browser
Every modern browser lets you block, delete, or be notified about cookies. Note that disabling Essential cookies will break login and most product functionality.
Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control
We honor the Sec-GPC: 1 Global Privacy Control header by treating it as an opt-out signal for Analytics cookies. The historical DNT: 1 header is also respected when present.
